CONFERENCE FACILITIES
The Whitehawk Inn has several bright and airy rooms for hire, subject to availability. We offer a 20% discount on all rooms for charities and community groups (subject to proof of status).
We have a Conference Room on the ground floor that can seat up to 16 people in the layout with tables (first photo shown) and between 18-20 with the chairs scattered more informally (second photo). The cost of hiring the room is £20 per hour:-

The room contains
• Tables and chairs
• Flipchart stand
• Ceiling mounted screen (for use with projector and laptop)
• 50" Smartboard, for use with laptops for Internet access (laptops not provided)
Flipchart pads & pens are available to purchase at reception, or you are welcome to bring your own.
back to topOur Classroom is also on the ground floor and has 10 PCs (plus 1 PC for the tutor) and an interactive white board that works in conjunction with all of the PCs. The cost to hire this room is £25 per hour:-

Our flexible learning style computer room on the lower ground floor has 13 PCs, 2 printers (1 black & white and 1 colour) and a separate workspace in the centre of the room. There is a stairlift that runs from the ground floor to this level, and a wheelchair once you get there to aid movement from the stairs to the computer room. The cost to hire this room is £15 per hour:-

We also have the rooms to hire on our first floor. There is a stairlift that runs from the ground floor up to the corridor; however, we do not store a wheelchair on this floor so people accessing this floor need to be able to make their way to the rooms.
Room 1 is what used to be the kitchen area for the pub accommodation and we use it primarily for art classes. It seats 10 people comfortably and costs £14 per hour to hire.
Room 2 is our smallest room, seating 6-7 comfortably with tables, and costs £10 per hour to hire.
Room 3 is the largest room on the first floor, seating 12 people comfortably around tables and costs £15 per hour to hire.

• 40" smartboard to work with laptops for Internet access (laptops not provided)
• 25" TV & VHS video player
Whilst we have an Internet cafe on the premises, unfortunately we only sell sweet and savoury snacks. You are welcome to bring in lunch for your delegates, or their are shops nearby. Alternatively, we can arrange a lunch for you and your delegates if you wish - please ask for more information on what is available.
