Cafe and Garden

The Whitehawk Inn is so much more than learning centre. The cafe and garden provide a bright and relaxing space to enjoy a cup of coffee and catch up with friends and colleagues.

Cafe

Take a break from your course and enjoy a hot or cold drink in our brightly painted Internet cafe.

We have four flat screen PCs available for Internet access in the cafe area. So why not pop in and check your email or book a flight online? …

(Please note that all users of the Internet cafe will need to be able to work by themselves).

  • Internet access for members is 10p for 5 minutes (£1.20 per hour)
  • Freshly ground cappuccino £1.60
  • Freshly ground espresso £1.30
  • Delicious hot chocolate £1.30
  • Wide range of teas available 90p
  • Snacks start from 50p

Garden

...or relax in our cafe garden, where both learners and members of the public are welcome.

Room hire

The Whitehawk Inn has several bright and airy rooms for hire. We offer a 20% discount on all rooms for local charities and community groups (subject to proof of status).

Office hire

We have a range of bright, modern office suites available to hire from January 2011, ranging in size from 100 - 300 sq ft at £25 per sq ft.

All offices furnished and the rental includes use of the cafe and garden, reception services, cleaning, heating & lighting, building insurance and Internet access. Direct dial telephones with itemised billing also available.

Accessibility

Accessibility and Adaptive Equipment

Not all parts of the Centre are easily accessible for wheelchair users; however, chairlifts provide access to the lower and upper floors.

We have a range of equipment to help people who have a variety of disabilities such as visual and hearing impairment and mobility restrictions.

Please mention your access and equipment needs when booking. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee availability for all usage.
