LEARNING
The Whitehawk Inn delivers a range of training and employment related services for local residents, primarily at the Centre and at other venues locally. These services are grouped under the following areas of delivery.
- In partnership with a range of training, employment & health providers who are experienced in working in this area, we’ve brought mainstream services into a community setting.
- Our Gateway Team provides the wrap around services of Information & Advice, learner support, employment advice and support, help to progress and signposting to other agencies and services (click on links on the left for more information).

Further fee reductions!
Further fee reductions for courses may be available if you meet certain criteria:-
MTB–if you are in receipt of a means-tested benefit: Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, or if you are a dependant of someone in receipt of one of these. (Pension Credit Guarantee and Working Tax Credit may also be eligible). You will need to provide recent evidence and your National Insurance number.
Please check your eligibility with a member of the Gateway team and bring evidence with you when you enrol.How do I sign up?
- Courses marked * please phone for a guidance appointment to enrol from 16th August. Skills Accounts are required to join these accredited courses
- All other courses please enrol at the centre starting 6th September 2010
- Please be patient when you come to enrol as you will need to see a Gateway advisor as part of the enrolment and may have to wait until one is available
- Please note that we require full payment (including any exam fees) & proof of benefit to secure your place on your chosen course
- You will need to tell us your National Insurance number when you enrol
- Places are booked on a first come, first served basis
